if you look past the clouds, you will see a very, very snowy country below. that is finland. and that is where i am now. since i have come here, i want to sleep, sleep and sleep all the time. but i don't. hihi. adapting to yet another country. surviving in a different climate. seeing what is beyond the ice. let's play!

abandonado

hihi like abandoned factories or metro stations, unattended blogs tend to be vandalized. the amount of spam comments increases substantially. they usually go something like this: 'wow, this was really interesting. can i link it to my blog?' well, if you want to link it to your blog, at least bother to read it and write a relevant post instead of some generic bullcrap. off go the 'comments' to the black hole of the internet. thank you comment moderation.

i've always wondered : what happens to inactive blogs? do they continue their virtual presence in the universe of internet? do they become vagabond domain occupants? do they get invaded by persistent spammers?

i'm still alive and working. a lot. i'll have some interesting news soon, though:) though, soon.

back to the kitchen

i have somewhat more spare time right now. but i cannot guarantee that tomorrow i'll still have it:) january has been a terrible month blog-wise. it has been a nice month so far, work-wise though. i think i might have infected my computer with a terrible virus (beware of s€curity shi€ld which is actually not secure and definitely does not shield you from anything). that's why i'm writing from another computer and i am pictureless. which i hate. more meaningful entries please!

yet another new year is coming! will we have a snowy new year's day? hope so:) i wish everyone a funny and inspired year! try not to worry too much about that 20th cookie you eat and that whole bottle of wine you drink O_o

inspiration comes from such diverse sources! i have decided to turn my recent experience with bureaucracy (ahh, had to check spelling in the dictionary so bad!) into a cartoon. yes i did.

how i love bureaucracy, mm! all that filling, and refilling the same forms over and over again. all that writing your own address in 20 different places, getting cramps in your wrist. all that slowness in spite of your running out of time. all that feeling of dependence, when you want to scream your lungs off at his face. all that not giving the necessary information at the beginning, when you could just have avoided that whole-day waste of time. and, of course, you have to have infinite amount of cash with you, just at that spot. of course.

back to basics

sometimes an idea leads to other ideas, leading to yet other ideas and so on. inspiration builds itself up, exponentially. in no time you are approaching towards a meaningful whole. but that happens when you are happy with your initial idea. it is like a virtuous cycle.

what happens when you are not sure of your initial idea? does it stop producing anything in a while? does it stay in your 'to do' list forever, collecting dust and eventually fading into nothingness? do you think it is better to force to make it work, or to let it go and start over? hmmm.
