chandelier

i have been working, working, working. and then i have been working some more. the most interesting part was doing some interviews in the sishane area. this is a very nice part in the city with lots of old buildings and lamp makers. well, sometimes the surrounding area is not very nice at night. it's a little complicated. anyway, spending time in sishane was really...refreshing for me. even though it meant i couldn't get to go to my hometown over the weekend. it's been forever since i went there.

so when will you be loading those bloody videos? (hihi it's funny using expressions in english) i will, as soon as i figure out how to load them and how to add one more day to the week.

equus

yeah, yeah i know. i am not the best photographer. how many times will you rub it in my face:P this girl(?) looks pretty worn out to me. not what i would call 'a noble stallion'. i have always had a thing about horses. as miserable as she may look, she still is so beautiful. look at that bone structure!

and why would i ever want to have a horse in our urban, apartment-style life? (yes, i actually demanded that from mom years ago). i don't have any connection to any real horse from my childhood. in fact, dogs and cats were the only wildlife around me for a long time. they still are. stop it. i'll start crying now.

the rays of sunshine dig holes in my skin

yeah, once more it is almost summer and once more i would like to do anything but sit in front of the computer screen. how different was my last summer from this one... wait a minute. i have to have finished this summer to be able to say that.

will i do some major changes in my life? is it this time? who knows? i don't want to fall into the laziness trap again. but i think i will.

unlived memories

today in a lesson there was a short mentioning of vancouver. suddenly i felt like... something struck me. i don't know. can you miss somewhere you have been in for just 28 days and is-like- 250000 miles away?

here it is

well, well. we are back from this small city (kütahya to be exact) and my workshop is done. it was such fun! i hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did. i was so excited i couldn't even realize i was being photographed during the workshop. that's me i guess. hihi, it was the first time in my life i used a microphone, and i had pretty funny moments while talking.

since i can't put anybody else's work here without permission (i had the animation done by some students), i am uploading a still from my own rehearsal of the project. wait, the movie is coming, too:)

the other workshop in december will be on too; i decided i won't be repeating it. i just don't know how to link to videos in vimeo. gotta find out soon!

so what do you think about these guys? can you guess what is going on? ok, i'll ask how you found it after i upload the video. the name of the film is: teeth of the cardboard. i'll include more info with the video, too.
