the light in the end

just let me live in this pipe. i won't ask for much, just a bite or two of food occasionally and some water. i will poke my head out once in a while, just to see the daylight. it will be safe, cozy and silent in my beloved yellow pipe.

settling in the peninsula

our next destination was datca (i have some problems with google maps by the way. can you see the locators?). my oh my! we wanted to drink the sea water. what an amazingly clean piece of nature! and how lovely people! and believe me, what we are eating in the city is shit compared to the food in datca.

this is old datca. all of the houses were made of stone. they used to be the villagers' homes, but were converted to trendy eco-tourism shops and ateliers.

i think it was a little windy at times.

what? of all the pictures you've taken, are you uploading this bug? yes, i am. this guy's movements and overall looks really struck me. he once tried to sleep in my shoe.

home hom hum

when i come to my hometown, i enjoy the delicious home-made food, feel cozy and totally out-of-place. i still work on current projects thanks to the holy internet and portable computer technology, but otherwise i cannot find anything to do, especially if i'm not meeting anyone. i wander around quite aimlessly. i feel without 'context'. i'm not sure it is too bad to be without context every once in a while, because you can see things in a different perspective. maybe life isn't too bad? maybe i will make it? (make it to what?)

what do you feel when you visit your hometown?
