conflict

the thing that causes me to delay my posting about industrial design stuff is that, -you know- you actually cannot talk about your projects until after they have been produced and released, and some kind of copyright protection has been arranged. even if you are designing for no apparent company or immediate financial expectation, the project still and always has the potential to be marketed. how do other industrial design bloggers overcome this problem? can they feel confident sharing sketches, mock-ups, models, 3d's, or even prototypes as they progress? i really want to share some of the progress i have been making about some projects, but i'm not sure if i may ruin the whole thing. on the other hand, i don't feel the same pressure when sharing my characters or animations, or future illustrations. why so? hmm. i need to check the other designers' view of sharing details of independent projects.

what do you think about this? do you keep your independent industrial design projects top secret until after you launch them, or do you spill at least part of the project? i really need some feedback on this...
