cover your cough

i have been ill with a strange kind of influenza. i hope it's not the influenza that has been travelling around for a few months. the one that i shall not name here. hmmm. it feels very...different this time. oink?

just hours

hi, just a quick post to remind that tomorrow morning i'll be flying. i am changing continents on the northern hemisphere. let's see if i can connect there as soon as i go:) see you! lots of drawings and pictures are due.

vamos a viajar

this blog will turn into a travel blog with the snap of my fingers:) hehe, that's a joke. but for the next few weeks, my main focus will be travelling and getting to know new places. i'm sure there will be lots of design inspiration, artworks, buildings and tons of stuff i can't even imagine right now. not to forget animals ;) remember my 'i love nature' days? i will make you suffer even more! i'm sure at times i will be quite depressed and out of place. i know that's a normal thing, but at the time i won't be able to help myself and be a pain in the rear. for the first time in my life i'm going to fly over an ocean. brrr! don't worry, i'll give the specifics over time. did i say i will fly over an ocean? i mean row:P i'm planning to sell these baskets to supply me some food. and some water. and some petroleum in case i get tired. and some sunscreen.

road trippin'

i'm not crazy about the song from red hot chili peppers, who i absolutely adore and had spent whole seasons listening to (wayyy back) but it makes of a nice title, doesn't it? once more it is travel time for me. this one was kind of a surprise. i wonder what i will see. if interesting, i might share:)

insomnia

some days really knock you out. i slept from 8 pm to 8 am. i really couldn't get enough. yesterday practically i just went to some places and talked to some people. i had to argue with them, evaluate them, be evaluated by them, persuade them, calm them down, get them excited...three different sets of people, all in the same day. besides, i had to travel a total of four and a half hours. i'm not sure which part was more exhausting, though.

tomorrow i'll be on the road again. don't fall asleep on your laptops;)

ok let's cheer things up a little.

here's a tough one: can you guess where this photo was taken? hint: it's the same city where the last photo was.

i probably will be away for about one week starting from monday. i'll catch up when i come back. more promises to keep, right? until then, take care and have a nice weekend everybody!

p.s.: my mother contacted the publisher and it's still not clear if they are going to republish the book. for free of course. we'll see that later. ok i'm stopping now because i feel the anger creeping. grrrr.

some shadow wouldn't hurt

travelling is one of the most exciting things for me, but sometimes it gets so boring i just want to be teleported. i know, i know; it's not the destination, it's the journey, bla bla bla... but you have to be preeeetty imaginative to enjoy your seven millionth trip to the same place.

here you go, meet the origami dog! (remember her?) she is made out of craft paper. she tries to be sensitive to the environment, but somehow screws up every time. she's not moving yet, but she will in a short while;)
